What this page covers
This page covers this website: what you send us through it, and what your browser sends when you open it.
Work that we do for a client is a separate matter. The written agreement for that work says how we handle the client's data.
The contact form
The contact form asks for your name, your email address, your company and your message. We ask for them so we can answer you.
When you send the form, this site sends your message to our company inbox as an email. The email goes through Cloudflare, the company that hosts this site. The site itself stores no copy of your message. The message stays in our inbox until we delete it.
The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that the sender is a person and not a program. Turnstile runs a short check in your browser when the contact page loads. To do that, Cloudflare sees your IP address and technical details of your browser. Turnstile does not read what you type in the form. The Turnstile privacy addendum and the Cloudflare privacy policy cover that check.
Booking a call
The calendar on the contact page comes from Cal.com, a scheduling service that another company runs. Your browser loads it from Cal.com when you open that page. What you type there goes to Cal.com, and the Cal.com privacy policy covers it.
Cal.com passes us your name, your email address, the time you picked and any note you wrote, so we can hold the call.
When you open a page
Your browser sends your IP address, the address of the page you asked for, and some details of your browser and your device. Every website receives these. Cloudflare, the company that hosts this site, uses them to deliver the page and to stop attacks. The Cloudflare privacy policy covers that.
We do not use these details to work out who you are. The fonts, the pictures and the video come from this site itself. No page loads an advertising script or a social media script. The one outside part is the booking calendar on the contact page.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies of its own. It has no analytics yet. The Turnstile check on the contact page comes from Cloudflare, and the Cloudflare cookie policy covers what that check may keep in your browser. The calendar on the contact page comes from Cal.com, and Cal.com decides what it keeps in your browser.
How we use what you send
We use it to answer you, to hold the call, and to write a scope and a price if you ask for one.
We do not sell it or pass it to anyone for advertising, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Who else sees it
Two companies handle data for this site: Cal.com for bookings and Cloudflare for hosting. We also use ordinary office tools, such as email and a calendar, to answer you.
We give what you send to nobody else, unless a law or a court order requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep a message or a booking while we talk with you about possible work. If you become a client, our written agreement covers what we keep after that.
If the talks end, you can ask us to delete what you sent, and we will.
Seeing, correcting or deleting what you sent
You can ask us to delete what you sent us. Write to hello@braidmont.com, or tell us on a call, and we will delete it.
You can also ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. We treat every request the same way, wherever you live.
Sensitive information
The site uses an encrypted connection. No website can promise perfect security, so please do not send passwords, health records, bank details or confidential documents through the form or the booking page.
If your project involves that kind of information, tell us on the call. We agree on how to handle it before you send any of it.
Children
This site is for businesses. It is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Visitors from other countries
We are in the United States. What you send us is handled here, and by the two companies named above.
Accessibility
We want this site to work for everyone. If a part of it is hard to read or hard to use, write to hello@braidmont.com and we will fix it.
